Client: Personal Piece
Project Info: I designed this piece in response to the hometown Chicago Blackhawks' winning of the Stanley Cup for the third time in five years. My inspiration drew from the logo crests that are popular among European football clubs, right down to the inclusion of the "HC" to stand in for the phrase "Hockey Club." The design was a play on the Blackhawks' existing logo, replacing the Blackhawk Native American head with that of an actual hawk. While preserving the four-feathers and face-paint treatment of the existing logo, I added in the two-tone arrowhead to serve as the crest itself.
